Tashkent will host the annual International Business Summit of Directors of the Silk Road countries

On October 19, the annual International Business Summit of Directors of the Silk Road countries will be held in the capital of Uzbekistan. This landmark business event will be held for the second time, and the main topics of the upcoming forum will be: attracting international investment, IPO, professionalization of Supervisory Boards and Boards of Directors, as well as digitalization of companies and financial institutions in the new economy.
The annual International Business Summit of Directors is a landmark business event in the region and a permanent platform for directors to exchange experience and best business practices.

The forum program includes four panel discussions on the following topics:
• "Government, business and corporate governance: new opportunities and rules of the game",
• "Formation of Boards of Directors: from formality to value",
• "New Economy" and new management practices",
• "The Community of Directors of the Silk Road countries: integration of experience and competencies for business development in the region".

About 400 top managers, owners of the largest local, regional and international companies, together with representatives of the public sector and the global expert community, will consider current trends and challenges related to the transformation of the economy and governance of Central Asian countries.

The summit was organized by the Institute of Corporate Governance and Boards of Directors in the Silk Road Countries (SR BGI) in partnership with the Association of Professional Directors (ANDA), the International Finance Corporation (IFC), KPMG and TEAM University - with the support of Mastercard, Arthur Consulting, Cros, etc."The Directors' Business Summit is a landmark international business event and a platform for dialogue and partnership at the highest level.
